Blokees Transformers Shining Version Chapter 2 model kit collection box set

▼My first Bruco purchase was the Luminous Edition Grimlock — the gateway drug to this hobby.

Blokees Transformers Shining Version Chapter 2 with multiple robot figures

▼The small box features 1985 Toy Version Optimus Prime on the cover — likely a last-minute addition to cash in on Hasbro’s nostalgia bait.

Multiple colorful Transformers Blokees model kits with original packaging

▼Box weights shown below:

Various sized Blokees Transformers robot figures with different color schemes

▼By Core Number: 01 Beachcomber

Transformers Blokees instruction manual and accessories included

▼A completely new character never released in the Legends Series (Luminous Edition exclusive).

▼Unique accessory: a gold-plated right arm with attachable bird.

▼Minor G1 role (discovered Golden Lagoon, triggered a brawl). Blokees smart move after Wave 1’s all-repaint backlash. Also appears in 2024 Annual Edition (full gold version).

▼02: 1985 Toy Version Optimus Prime

▼Despite being filler, it’s overly generous: New molds for everything except arms/upper legs.

▼Articulated waist tires. Separate translucent blue chest piece. Brand-new lower legs/feet.

▼Looks clunky next to Legends Series figures.

▼Red elbow joints = nice; red knee joints = eyesore (swap with Legends parts).

▼Secret variant is this mold (didn’t pull it). Bruco went all-out with new parts, but it clashes stylistically — more of a collector’s tribute.

▼03: Grimlock

▼My Blokees initiation figure!

▼Upgrades vs. Legends Series: Added sword. Black upper legs. Translucent chest for light diffusion. Red translucent eyes (more menacing).

▼Classic Luminous Edition formula: "3 Upgrades" (price hike + lights + weapons).

▼04: Soundwave

▼Technically Soundwave + Laserbeak + Ravage bundle.

▼Laserbeak was Legends Series secret variant exclusive; Ravage is new (both unpainted — customize for better looks).

▼Luminous changes: Transparent chest panels (vs. Legends’ painted ones). Removed shoulder paint apps (why?).

▼Painted cassettes (Legends used plain molded plastic). Wasted potential: solid front chest piece blocks light effects.

▼To complete "Baoying Thirteen Tigers", add Legends Series Frenzy, Rumble, and Reflector. This way, the Shadow Thirteen Tigers will be complete.

▼05: Sideswipe

▼Only upgrade: flight pack + thruster effects.

▼Pack works on Optimus Prime.

▼Backplate issue: Removing the pack leaves two ugly holes (Legends Series had covered ports).

▼Lazy engineering — figure feels incomplete without the pack.

▼06: Sunstorm

▼Luminous Edition exclusive (like Wave 1’s Acid Storm). Yellow flame deco on arms.

▼Just a Jetfire repaint — low effort but completes Seeker squad.

▼Wave 2 Verdict: 2.5 new characters — more creative than Wave 1.

▼Sideswipe/Soundwave have crucial accessories but lazy base figures.
