▲ It’s Cybertronian Vehicle form is a homage to “The War Within” Optimus Prime. The transformation is nice, and relatively easy.

▲ The Windshield has a new color.

▲ General Grant - CW01 is based upon the Official “Titanium Series” Optimus Prime. The design and coloring are very similar to the official toy, but the details and articulation have been greatly improved.
The Cybertronian Vehicle is very imposing, however, with the front wheels being larger than the rear wheels, it does not roll extremely well.

▲ The coolest feature of the Cybertronian Vehicle, not seen in the official release, is Prime’s Trailer. It is also significantly different from its predecessor, Spark Toys’ ST01. CW01’s trailer is removable for even more playability.

▲ The trailer’s impressive size and rich details really make the appearance of CW01's vehicle mode extraordinary.

▲ The metallic paint on the trailer looks fantastic combined with the front vehicle. And although the trailer is limited in articulation, the stability of the two combined is quite good.

▲ Unfortunately the trailer has a non-functioning rear, roller shutter door, so other cars cannot be loaded into it.

▲ The transformation of the toy is fairly straightforward, as it basically replicates that of the official Titanium Series Optimus Prime.Once transformed to robot/humanoid, you’ll be impressed with what you see. However, as how great he looks, CW01's posability is far from perfect. For instance, while the fingers can be moved, the joints are loose and it is difficult to pose hands that are natural looking. They are also a bit cumbersome to transform, and to some extent, it negatively impacts the playability.

▲ The CW01 backpack is well designed, which can be attached vertically to the back waist or turned upside down and attached on both sides of the window.

▲ Though well articulated, CW01’s mobility is relatively generic. His shoulders are the BEST of his several major joints, allowing his arms to extend straight out, however, with no butterfly joints, his elbow articulation is quite limited.

▲ As for the WORST of his several major joints, his hips lead the way. Even when the hip-skirt is raised, the armor on his thighs get in the way, barely allowing his legs to kick forward, and impossible to perform squats. In addition, there is nothing to prevent the knees from bending backwards.

▲ During transformation of the trailer, CW01’s biggest flaw was exposed... the plastic used is very rigid and in turn, brittle. The above blue tab, showed signs of stress marks (white lines in the plastic) after only one transformation, so please handle with care.
