Dr.Wu DW-E13G Sky Glider Powerglide & DW-E10G Spray Drift Seaspray Set of 2
Material: ABS
Height: N/a
▼Dr. Wu has released an extremely small-scale Golden Lagoon Powerglide & Seaspray set. The molds for these figures were previously released, but this is a new “Golden Lagoon” repaint version. I heard this Golden Lagoon edition has a limited production run, so I quickly picked one up to review for everyone. Let’s take a closer look at how the set performs.
The toy box follows the usual style of Dr. Wu’s extremely small-scale line, but since this is a Golden Lagoon edition, the entire package is made to look glittering and gold. In the top left and bottom right corners are the “extremely small-scale” emblem and the Dr. Wu logo. On the back, we see images of the toys in robot mode along with some playability notes typical of this series.

▼Inside the package, you get:Powerglide figure,Seaspray figure,Two character cards,Two instruction sheets,One Mini-Cassette runner.
![Dr.Wu DW-E13G Sky Glider Powerglide jet robot transformation form Dr.Wu DW-E13G Sky Glider Powerglide jet robot transformation form]()
▼After cutting the Mini-Cassette runner pieces and assembling them, you get a set of chibi-style Mini-Cassette figures. The lineup includes: Laserbeak, Ravage, Frenzy (or Rumble), Ratbat, Eject (or Rewind), Steeljaw, and Ramhorn. Despite their tiny size, the detailing is surprisingly sharp—each character is instantly recognizable and looks quite refined.

▼The highlight of the set, of course, is Powerglide. The sculpt is spot-on, very faithful to the cartoon design. Although the toy stands shorter than a thumb, it doesn’t skimp on details. The head sculpt is particularly impressive, with metallic blue paint on the eyes. The chest also features metallic gold paint, which adds variety and avoids monotony

▼From the back, the figure is neat, with a compact backpack that doesn’t disrupt the silhouette. The backs of the legs are a little busy due to the folded tail wings of the jet mode, but not to the point of being distracting.

▼Arms: can rotate vertically, lift sideways about 90°, elbows bend far beyond 90°.Legs: can kick forward, backward, and sideways close to 90°, knees rotate and bend just over 90°.Ankles: swivel and tilt, can rotate 360° for stability.By modern standards, Powerglide’s articulation could be improved, but the sculpt itself is appealing enough that posing feels natural.

▼The transformation isn’t difficult—mostly an optimized take on the old-school design. Follow the instructions once and you’ll likely memorize it. The jet mode looks exactly like Powerglide should. Despite the small scale, the plane mode has good surface coverage and acceptable seam lines. The tiny jet even pairs nicely as a companion piece to larger figures.

▼Seaspray arguably looks even better than Powerglide. The cartoon accuracy is at least 80% spot-on. Like Powerglide, Seaspray’s eyes feature metallic paint, and the small-scale figure shows no major paint bleed or missing areas.

▼Because Seaspray has more articulation points, his back exposes more joints than Powerglide, but the absence of a large backpack keeps the figure clean from most angles.

▼Arms: rotate vertically, lift sideways 90°, elbows rotate and bend 90°.Legs: forward kick about 60°,sideways 90°, backward slightly over 90°.Knees: bend about 90°.Ankles: swivel, tilt, and rotate small degrees up to 360°.Overall, Seaspray is more poseable than Powerglide. For such a tiny figure, aside from the fixed head, the articulation compares well to many modern small-scale toys.

▼Even simpler than Powerglide’s—so intuitive that you can likely transform him without instructions. Just go by how you imagine Seaspray should transform and you’ll get it right.
The hovercraft mode is nicely executed. Only a few transformation joints peek out on the surface, but the design logic is clear. The rear propellers are pinned in place and can spin freely when flicked by hand.

▼Dr. Wu’s Golden Lagoon Powerglide & Seaspray set delivers screen-accurate sculpts, satisfying playability, and stress-free transformations—perfect for casual handling. This Golden Lagoon edition fills a gap in the mini-scale Golden Lagoon lineup, giving collectors a chance to round out their displays. At the same time, it’s a great entry point for those who missed the original color releases.
The inclusion of the Mini-Cassette figures further boosts the set’s value, making it a highly cost-effective purchase. If you’re looking for fun, pocket-sized Transformers to casually fiddle with, I strongly recommend this set.
