ssjgoku22: I've bought pretty much every version of Star Saber (MP, Flames Toys, Planet X) and this is, by far, the best version of Star Saber. The combined mode is huge, bigger and much nicer looking than the MP. Really solid joints, the proportions look great, and excellent articulation. The paint throughout takes this figure to the next level when compared with the MP and the Planet X releases. The Flames Toys version is the most detailed, but it doesn't transform (and costs more than double the price of the IronTrans).
Overall, this is the best Star Saber to date. For the price, you are getting a lot of figure. A must buy.
ssjgoku22: Very expensive. I purchased and it is, no doubt, a beautiful figure (tons of articulation, exceptional build quality, fully painted, the best plastic quality and diecast parts), but I still don't think the price is justified. It doesn't transform but it can be armored up or down. If this was about $200 CAD cheaper, it would have been worth it, but at $550 CAD, I should have passed. If you have the money, I'd say, go for it, but if you don't, there are 3 Star Saber's that are more capable (and cheaper) than the Flames Toys (The official MP, Planet X, and Iron Trans).
ssjgoku22: Definitely prefer the Japan versions colors. The black alt look awesome (especially the shuttle). I don't know if I want drop that kind of money on a repaint of Astrotrain though. Decisions, decisions... (probably will still end up buying it, just need to sell a few things lol). Keep up the great work Fanstoys!
ssjgoku22: Nah, not for that price. I paid $190 USD for Fans Roadking, and that's a full-sized MP figure. This thing is only 4.72 inches tall, probably completely plastic and costs $130 USD? These Legends figures are getting way too expensive these days. It probably costs Magic Square nothing to make something so small, and then they charge a crazy price for it. I know this has nothing to do with Show Z, as all the retailers are charging this much. Magic Square and Iron Factory are getting greedy.
ssjgoku22: Always wanted to get this set, but the reviews for it showed that the combiner mode wasn't very stable. Hopefully with the included upgrade kit, it helps the figure to hold together better. Liokaiser is a cool character, so it's awesome that TFC decided to make this.
ssjgoku22: While I do like this, the price is pretty steep for a figure that's not very big. Also Tesla had a big price drop right when it released, so I'm hoping the same thing happens to Chomp. Fanstoys needs more competition in order for them to keep their prices lower. Still, definitely might pick up this guy, he looks great overall.
ssjgoku22: Probably the best transformable IDW Optimus Prime that you can buy currently. The design is very faithful to the source material. Highly posable and the materials are good quality. It is a beast to transform though, so you'd better watch a Youtube video before attempting. The Generation Toy Prime is also a great IDW Prime, but this G-Creation version is much more accurate. Highly recommended.
ssjgoku22: Absolutely astounding. This makes the official MPM look like the KO. The paint applications on this figure are beautiful. High quality plastic, tight joints, nothing to complain about. Without a doubt, I'd recommend picking this up. Highly recommended.
