Keng: NA has been doing quite the amazing job with their Minifigures: I have enjoying the ones, which I have gotten tremendously, and NA Warpath is no exception: well made and well painted little figure.
In the accessory department, NA has had a tendency of not being that great, and NA Warpath only comes with an effect piece - a nice one, but still seems a bit lacking especially considering the 40 USD plus price point for a smaller Transformer.
The transformation sequence is OK: I had some difficulties due to the extremely tight joints here and there, so there were some steps, which felt a bit scary... Nothing broke, thankfully, and NA Warpath looks good in both modes.
The inside of the feet are slightly messy, and another minor issue is the grey back pack in bot mode, which doesn't tap in any where, and either does the arms.
I have compared NA Warpath with IF Warpath, and NA is smaller - when I first saw the prototype pictures, I made a remark about NA Warpath's size, wishing him to have broader shoulders and generally a bigger upper body, and having him in hand, I still would have liked to see that, as I picture him as the beefy brawler.
I am overall very happy about the figure, and NA Warpath looks great with other Minifigures - in my picture, he is situated among NA and MS figures, as this is how I roll in my collection :-)
(And yes, I know that my NA Bumblebee is the old one, but I really, really like that version of Bee, and I have no intention to replace it :-))
I do recommend this figure: despite the figure not hitting all the notes, it is still fun and good looking, and my issues are really quite minor - thanks for reading :-)
Keng: Great examples, diode - thanks for sharing! :-) I guess if I was collecting MP, I would also stick with the TE version for my MP Mirage and DS for my Blaster. I guess for Optimus Prime, I would probably have gotten both, as I like both versions - that is what I did with the Legends ones :-)
