Codone Hydro: I just can't justify to myself why my S1 Autobot shelf needs to expand to Huffer, Brawn, etc. These guys were such losers. Everybody from Mirage to Trailbreaker to Gears were cannon fodder which took too long to hit the cannon.
ssjgoku22: Your shelf doesn't need them, but mine does, lol. I get what you mean though.
[Pre-Order] Future Toys-X SF-01 Metal Lycosa Tarantulas
ssjgoku22: Awesome! I thought Transart might have been the one to make this first, but I guess not (unless this is Transart...). A much needed character for any Beast Wars collection.
Generation Toy GT-03 IDW Optimus Prime
ssjgoku22: An amazing rendition of IDW's version of Optimus Prime. The mold of this figure looks great. It gives Prime a very strong, armored look to him. The paint and detail on this figure is look great as well. He stands about the same size as MP-10 (maybe a bit taller). The transformation is smooth and all parts fit into place quite well. If looking you're for a Prime that isn't your typical MP-10, this figure is a great choice. Highly recommended.
Planet X PX-11 Apocalypse Trypticon
Pete_74: This looks beautiful, but someone needs to alert PX that 300 dollars for a 12 inch tall citybot is not going to work very well. Now if it were say, 24+ inch tall then maybe, maybe even 400. But 300 for a citybot the same size as MP44 only appeals to those in the smaller mini collector department. So perhaps someone will make a version of this in the 2 to 3 foot range. Then Im all on board for him. He looks fantastic though. Best stylized version of Trypticon so far.
ssjgoku22: Agree with you 100%. The design of this version of Trypticon is amazing but that does not justify what you are getting in terms of size. If this were about $100 cheaper, I'd totally be in, but not for what it's currently going for.
TransArt BWM-05 Transmetal Optimal Optimus Primal
ssjgoku22: That price is steep. This looks a lot like the original release from the 90's with only marginal improvements. The Perfect Effect version was the same price and was an original sculpt that was a huge improvement over the original.
Magic Square MS-B46 Light of Victory Optimus Prime 2.0 Version
ssjgoku22: Was planning on getting, but that price is a big NO for me. That's the same price as their MP sized Optimus (Light of Freedom). I don't really get why this costs so much. Legends prices, in general, are getting ridiculous.
Unique Toys R-02 Challenger Optimus Prime 2nd Edition
Franky: The figure is excellent, very playable and with a very intuitive transformation.  I believe there will be many small updates such as the painted hands and the new head.  They could also have given us a new nemesis head.  This could justify such a high price tag for a design that has now outclassed.
ssjgoku22: I agree, the price is very close to the Toyworld version and that version had way more accessories. Like you said, they could have at least added a Nemesis head.
Y-01L Upgrade Kit for Deformation Space DS-01 Starscream
ssjgoku22: Yeah, I don't see the purpose of these kits. DS01 is already so neat from the back that it makes this unnecessary. The kits would probably make more sense for MP-52.
MechFansToys MF-54 Microscope Perceptor
TransformNRoll: Ngl I wish he scaled well with CHUG. They are just a bit too small right?
ssjgoku22: Yeah, MFT figures are too small for CHUG
SNAP & HeatBoys Armor Hero Dragon Man
ssjgoku22: These are cool, but for a new company, the prices are a bit too much. We've never seen or handled these figures, so it's hard to trust what they will offer. I'll wait for a review before committing.
