K. van Eijden: Absolutely one of the worst figures I have had the 'pleasure' of owning. My main motivation for buying Fuzz was to have him as a limb for Defensor, so I was willing to look past the stupidly intricate transformation and thin-ass shoulder ball joints.
I went in with zero expectations and was still disappointed. Fuzz is a floppy and loose mess that is held together by thoughts, prayers and weak joints. His head just 'sits' on the torso, his back is held up by a single hinge and doesn't tab in anywhere. There are thick scratches in the paint on spots where nothing was even touching the affected spots (see photo) and a piece broke off with me barely handling it. I haven't even transformed him, I am too afraid it will snap in half. On top of all of this, the hinges are not properly sanded and painted, appearing rough and uneven.
Xtransbots Fuzz feels like a knock-off of a Fanstoys Stunticon, despite Fuzz being only 25 bucks cheaper. There is diecast present, but its weak build and thin plastic negates what stability the diecast provides.
I will consider this guy a stand-in until a better company releases a Defensor. If you MUST own Streetwise, buy the upcoming MMC version if you want to present him separately, only go the XTB route if you are in for their Defensor and hope that he will not fall apart like their Menasor.
It gets 1 star for the nice headsculpt and packaging art. For the rest, avoid this figure like COVID19
