Grahf: Let me tell you that if I ordered this and got the chase variant, I'd send it right the fuck back. Lucky draws should not work that like. I want what I paid for. If I wanted the other deco then I'd have ordered it.
Story time about lucky draws. I ordered from Amazon the McFarlane Robin from the Frank Miller story. She had a broken ankle in the box. I ordered a replacement. They sent the fucking golden lucky draw. I sent it back trying to replace the replacement. They never sent another out as apparently that's not something Amazon does anymore.
Case in point, retail figures shouldn't have lucky draws like that for many reasons and that's just one.
Oh and I still have a broken ankle Robin but at least they refunded me after having contacted them. But the price went up after I gone through all the garbage and I no longer care about it anymore. Just what a pain.
The purple windows and especially the gold rims make this figure pop. The black window and rim version looks incomplete.
Grahf: I heard about this and was excited to be getting one of the redecos just like Metagate is doing with Lazorbeak.
But they cooked Double Punch so long even his claws turned red.
The claws are supposed to be opaque dark purple. As are the lower robot legs and the red part of the stinger.
This seems to be based on the card artwork for the Botcon figure but even then, instead of purple, those areas are a deep dark red when compared to the brighter more orangey red of the rest of the figure. Also not translucent. Meaning this is a mix of the card artwork and the actual figure.
As a result we have hate plague BW Scorponok instead of BW Double Punch. Close but you miss the mark on either of the two versions of the same character.
Does it look good? Yes. However it's inaccurate. And as this is a translucent figure, I don't really want to get it unless it's accurate. We all know that translucent plastic can go very wrong without warning.
Grahf: "Yeah, not getting my hopes up. The only third party Tigerhawk to ever hit the market was the LiJiang that just came out like two months ago. No other Tigerhawk ever shown off has been made regardless of how much hype they had and how awesome they looked.
You want a MP style Tigerhawk to go with the best TMII Megatron ever made? Too bad, you get nothing else from this company.
You want an original take on a "MP"; style Tigerhawk that still captures the look of the original? Too bad, have some so called legends scale Technobots where two of them suck, two are okay and one is really good instead.
Tigerhawk is the new Cosmos. When you see him coming it marks the end of that line or company. The only reason why Craftsman Toys survived was because they tried leading with Tigerhawk so you can't derail a company or line that hasn't released anything yet. But it almost did. I mean, look how long it took them to finally release the last four Technobots after releasing the first and why the second two sucked and the last two mediocre. It's because they were recovering from the almost certain death that is Tigerhawk. So now that LiJiang actually made one, look for them to be closing their doors soon. Don't look forward to more of their weird but cool original takes on Beast Wars characters anymore as none are coming now that their Tigerhawk was actually released into the wild.
Oh and Hasbro? Why do you think prices have gone up? Because they made a Tigerhawk that's why. But it wasn't just that, know that they also did Razorclaw. Meaning double trouble. Making that Tigerhawk, and know that I especially mean Razorclaw so soon after (when compared to the fact that we STILL don't have a Cryotek for example), put the company in such financial ruin that they had to raise the prices on everything they make in order to try and stay afloat. Yep, that's totally the reason for the price increases from Hasbro.
So go away. Nobody wants you. We're not getting excited just to be let down again."

Since the obvious wasn't obvious, IT WAS A JOKE. Reading comprehension is your friend people. Context clues. Clear and obvious jokes in the Hasbro section. I know it's more words than people are used to seeing in a row as it's more than 180 characters but damn.
I took the fact that Tigerhawk figures almost never get made as and the old joke that Cosmos killed toylines and combined them. It's not like it's even an original joke either. People on other Transformers pages have also made the correlation.
Grahf: Zeta, it was one thing when you made a new deco that's accurate. At least that way people might actually want this wonky proportioned figure missing half the alt mode again. But I'm fairly certain that nobody is clamoring for a reissue of this version. This version stayed listed on online stores to well...still to this day on some sites. They literally still have the original stock from 8 years ago. So why make more? At least do another deco or something. Lifeline maybe? New decos might entice new buyers.
I just took a look at the New Age Arcee the other day. That figure, at half the size of this one, is properly proportioned, pretty much has a cleaner backpack AND has a full car mode. It's a so called legends scale figure and this is a so called masterpiece scale figure. Again, this wasn't even good when it first released and it's even worse now. The only thing that made the new deco interesting was that it was finally in the proper colors and the price. While this carries the same price, it's as I already said and the first run of this figure still hasn't sold out yet.
How many other figures in Zeta's catalog that would need a reissue and they chose the worst figure they ever made in a deco nobody liked when it first released to reissue.
These companies need direction. I said it on the new BW Bumblebee listing and people cried about it until my comment was deleted. But it's true. These companies don't know what they're doing anymore. They don't know what the market actually wants. They make whatever and then the figures don't sell.
Grahf: You've got to be kidding me with that price.
It's $7 more here than other places.
Why does Show Z continue to artificially raise the prices on all DNA kits?
DNA and Show Z exist in the same country. They don't have to pay huge shipping prices or import fees to get the product to the other side of the world. So how is it that stores located in the US have this for $7 cheaper with no additional fees as the $13 price already has the shipping and import fees built into it. Meaning that the price for this set here should be like $10 at most.
This is by far the worst instance of a price increase for a DNA kit by Show Z. The $3 extra to secure what should be a FREE China bonus part is one thing, but this is an absurd price increase for a kit that will not have bonus parts. Even IF they do, again, the increase it usually only $3 going by the price increase for the full kit here compared to other stores that don't have the China bonus parts.
The points I get for purchasing here does NOT make up for the price difference. It's not even close to it either. It's practically negligible in this case.
Congratulations Show Z.
I went from picking up two of the blue set and two of the yellow set from you to now picking up none of them from you and taking the money to another store so I can add it to my pile of loot. With the money I saved by doing that I can pick up another two sets. TWO MORE SETS.
A single set here = $20.
A single set there = $13.
Four sets here = $80. Not including the shipping price of $1.40 total.
Four sets there = $52. Not including the flat rate shipping price of $4 (that will be split for my whole pile of loot which will have at least 6 other items) and US state sales tax. So about $2.66 shipping total. Tax will be high due to the state I currently live in though.
$80 - $52 = $28.
$13 x 2 = $26.
$28 - $26 = $2.
I will have saved two dollars (before shipping and taxes) by buying SIX kits from "pile of loot" than from buying FOUR kits here at Show Z.
Six kits is more than four kits in case you haven't been keeping up.
A store that needs to import them with a raised tariff rate to deal with has them at roughly 2/3 the price of a store that is probably down the road from the factory they came from for all we know.
Grahf: This company is the most confusing third party company I've ever seen.
They're just all over the place with the scale of their figures, the aesthetics, the series they do.
We went from a so called MP scale original style BW Tigerhawk that I'd still give a kidney for if they made it finally.
Then it's a so called legends scale part G1 part stylized G1 Computron.
On to a so called MP scale Zoids inspired style Grimlock that's part of a team of Dinobots that consists of more than five members and will combine. And that also might be "Scramble" style with a potential Piranacon? Unless that was another company's Zoids style Dinobot combiner of more than 5 members that I seen able to combine with a potential Tentakill (I think it was Tentakill). I mean, that does leave Cang Toys as a potential option for that Piranacon but their figures are more Gundam inspired than they are Zoids inspired but I digress.
Now we're on to a so called CHUG scale comic inspired Ultra Magnus. It is CHUG scale right? I mean, 10.63 inches isn't tall enough to tower over any MP scale Rodimus or Brainstorm that exists. But then again, it's perhaps a tad too small for even CHUG. So is this their own scale now? It can't be legends as this is about as tall as their Computron and I don't think that he should be that big.
Regardless, it's just confusing.
It's cool that they're making it. And it's at a size I'd be interested in getting even if it doesn't scale with anything. Price would be the main restriction though.
Grahf: Great here we go, people now think this is going to come out. This is why you don't necro decaying preorders.
This was cancelled like 7 years ago shortly after the preorders were first solicited.
This is never coming out.
NeoArt is a dead knockoff company.
The company that made the original figure is a necromanced corpse as it is. That being Maketoys. TFSource pulls their strings to make endless Seeker redecos and that's all they make. There will never make a reissue of the regular size version of this. If thy did reissue the regular size version, it'd be over $200 as that's how much it was back when it first came out like 9 years ago. And guess what, they didn't sell until on clearance. Now they go for big money on the aftermarket but when actually being sold at retail, nobody wanted them.
So yeah, $110 for this oversized knockoff 7 years ago was a great price considering the original, smaller version was $200+.
But still, don't get your hopes up of this actually being made. All the dead preorders were brought back up to the top of the list for some reason. It happens sometimes. Just look at the years of the updates, the year it was supposed to come out and the year the comments were made to see that things like this are dead and gone.
There's a reason why you never heard of this before, that being it's been long dead.
Just when you think a company finally comes along to bring balance back to the third party upgrade prices, they go and pull this shit.
In no world does a single head cost almost the same price as 2 FULLY articulated combiner hands, stickers and wrist extenders.
Did they seriously price this to match Achai's overpriced head? Ask me how I know that head is overpriced? I foolishly bought one of course. I just couldn't stand the stock head on Nemesis. The stock head on Optimus is fine though.
This should've been $10 tops and I would've double dipped and then sold my Achai head. ABS injection molded will beat ABS casting every single time. I'm so scared that the antenna spikes on the Achai head are going to snap during transformation from truck or super mode to robot mode. They catch on the shoulder blocks that go around the head for transformation. And Achai's stuff is decent but only slightly better than standard 3D printed stuff. It can and will break fairly easily compared to injection molded like New Bee Factory. And honestly, I like the look of this design better than the more hyper stylized look Achai went with. But I just couldn't stand the stock head and grabbed the Achai head thinking it was the best one that was going to come out and didn't want to miss it as he rarely reruns things if ever.
At $20 though, no thanks. At that price if the Achai head eventually breaks, I'll just go back to the stock head. If and when that happens, I'll be so over the figure anyway that I wouldn't care about hating the stock battle damaged head. Hasbro really should've just given both heads in the box. The set was overpriced as it was and a second head would've gone a llllllloooooooonnnnnnnnggggggg way to help get more sold. The price was okayish if you consider the figure itself to be leader class and not voyager like Hasbro mistakenly call it, but it was still a tad overpriced even after considering those chunky Minicons.
The price on these head really have me worried about this company now though. I really hope it's just due to the price of the Achai heads and that they wanted to just undercut that enough to steal future sales. Again though, I already got the Achai head for Nemesis and won't switch to this due to the price. Had it been half price or more, I'd have considered getting this. Oh well. I'm sure this will sell well enough anyway.
Grahf: Looks great in color but that price is an easy pass.
Grahf: Oh and just remember that there's 8 more of these "Missing Link" style GoBots on the way. With how badly Cop-Tur and his many versions have sold, I doubt the line will get that far. These really should've been about the price of Missing Link Bumblebee/Cliffjumper. Maybe a bit more due to these being licensed products.
