Grahf: I love how these colors are being used more and more now.

Not that the Sideswipe mold in particular needs more colors mind you but the fact that the Transformers brand in general is getting more colorful figures like this is great. I'd like to see Mirage's and Jazz's cancelled G2 colors more too. Pink and green and orange and red to go with this yellow and light blue. Man, the 90's sure were colorful in that early part. I kinda miss it.

Now if only red Mirage would be a thing we get more often too.

Grahf: Show Z, you shouldn't have to put these on sale and eat losses. Send them back to the company and get a refund like you did to that DNA Design Chromia kit that I was waiting to go on sale that magically now listed as "out of stock" even though nobody ordered it lol.

It's not your fault these are too expensive for what they are. In fact, your price is actually lower than they were selling them for on their own website. So send them back so that we it will tell this company to lower the fucking prices as almost nobody wants them at these prices.

Grahf: Wow, these are some beautiful looking Junkions. The colors are great. Two sets of 3 to build up quickly. Nice.

Grahf: Okay so my comment didn't carry through on this one so I'll explain again where that repaint comes from.

It's what was supposed to be the original colors for Seaspray. There was a product catalog in Japan that was showcasing the season 2 figures and some of them had random colors. There was this Seaspray, a red Beachcomber, Starscream with red Ramjet Wings, Skywarp with red Dirge wings, Thundercracker with red Thrust wings who is now known as Nacelle, grey and blue Powerglide who is now known as GoBots Bad Boy, blue Cosmos who is now known as GoBots Pathfinder and a black and white Astrotrain that did see release in Japan as well as a reissue in both Japan and the US.

Grahf: I got 1, 2 and 3 on sale at Pulse for cheap. They put 4 up for sale and then marked it out of stock at the same time. They magically came back in stock after the sale was over. 5 and 6 have not been on sale at Pulse yet. But then Amiami listed 4, 5 and 6 for super cheap and I picked up all three. Used but used from Amiami might as well be new since they tend to downplay how good things are in their very limited used item description rating system. I've gotten quite a few things listed as opened and used yet they were pretty much still sealed and untouched. I would imagine these will be no different.

Anyway though, once they get in I'll be able to see for myself just what this combiner is really like. There's a lot of opinions out there on them but I haven't paid much attention to them and will make my own decision once they're in hand. However I do know for certain that I don't like the stubby torso and I hate the way the side things look on the ankles. Those were very poorly done. The G1 figures did the ankle kibble well as they're just wing gun things instead of blocks of train parts that barely look as though they're holding on.

I look forward to when 7 and 8 go on sale so I can get those additional pieces for the torso and chest. The new torso piece at least helps make the combined torso look better. The new chest and head pieces look cool too. Shame the shade of yellow on 7 and 8, regardless of accuracy, make me think they're just old white figures that have been out in the sun for too long and yellowed like most of the G1 Jetfire figures you see on Ebay.

Grahf: Well well well would you look at that; The start of a new Devastator. Wow, so amazing and original. We're so lucky to have someone finally be making a Devastator. What a time it is to be a collector that we're finally able to get around to getting a Devastator. If only everyone else got the memo and started doing Devastators too. That would be so amazing if like 9 different companies decided to do Devastators right now. It'd be even better if like there were another 16 or so other options for Devastator made already as well.

Grahf: The odd thing about the likes giving points though is that it's not as though any of us even abused it. We all could've just liked every single comment we saw and instantly gave each other 10 points per like. Not a single agreement was ever made between anyone here to do that. We all pretty much just liked the comments we actually enjoyed or agreed with and if the author of the comment got points then so be it. Makes me wish everyone here went on a liking spree when we were getting points. I thought about it a few times but when I'd actually read most of the comments, I couldn't actually bring myself to hit like on them lol.

Grahf: Who the fuck is spending this kind of money on these? A hundred USD on what amounts to a deluxe figure. This is using the same mold as their Eject and Rewind so it's 4.33 inches and not 5.5 inches.

People out there crying about SS86 Bumblebee being $25 yet people are also somehow okay with these being $100. There's nothing amazing going on here and it's a novelty figure as it turns into a life sized audio cassette and isn't compatible with any existing Blaster or Soundwave figures. When I seen that SG Steeljaw I went to grab it immediately until I seen that it was $110. Whoever's paying these prices is crazy.

Ya'll can get a whole ass KO G1 Metroplex for these prices. Fucking box, foam inserts, stickers, instructions and all. 100% G1 down to the logos that have to be blurred out of the photos.

Seriously though. Whoever's buying these needs to stop.

Grahf: A seemingly unaltered 1:1 KO of the second most overrated figure HasTak figure in years. At least it's cheaper and more easily available.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great robot mode. The tank is acceptable but only just. The jet mode is complete trash though and it shouldn't have been. Or rather, there's an easy fix that would've solidified it and made it more visually appealing.

It's just for a figure that was supposedly based on Transformers Animated Season 4 Marauder Megatron, this missed the mark entirely.

Again though, the robot mode is fantastic. It's like an Action Master...er...uh...R.E.D. figure. But those alt modes leave a lot to be desired.

This figure had no original base design as he wasn't even in that movie. So it could've been ANYTHING, including Marauder Megatron, but instead it was disappointing.

The quick fix was to have the hips work like Studio Series BB Shockwave in that they break and spread out at a 45 degree angle at the upper thighs and hips. Then spin the legs 90 degrees like normal. Open up the wings on the lower legs and take out the thrusters. Then collapse the lower leg onto the upper leg but instead of it being at a 'V' shape. Make it bend in at a full 180 degrees like a 'll' shape. Then snap the thrusters behind the thighs where the hips were and there you go.

This way all the leg parts are parallel with the body of the jet making things look more cohesive and everything would be more stable. As it is now, it looks like 'VVV' due to the angles of the legs but should look more like 'llVll'. And since the legs don't tab in anywhere securely, the sides of the jet droop and come untabbed from the front pelvis flaps as well as the arms underneath. That's IF you can even get the arms to tab into the legs as moving the parts into a position where they do tab in, untabs the pelvis flaps from the thighs. The parts just don't line up properly no matter how I fidget with everything. On and good luck trying to tab the Fusion Cannon in underneath and have it be straight. And it's really funny that they designed this tiny almost completely unnoticeable tab and slot

This would also leave room between the body of the jet and the sides of the jet. They could've put the arms there to really lock everything together and it would've cleaned up the underside of the jet by not having arms just hanging out down there. Finish off by having the Fusion Cannon do something, anything better than the nothing it does for all the modes. For something with so many moving parts, it doesn't actually do anything more than just be the exact same Fusion cannon for all three modes.

But yeah, $30 instead of $55 is amazing! Kinda jealous actually lol.

Preordered on Amazon and had to wait forever for a $55 figure that wasn't worth the price yet everyone was seemingly raving about. This is coming from someone who thinks leader Astrotrain, Shockwave, Sandstorm, Doubledealer and Springer are worth it too. ER Optimus, SS86 Starscream and G2 Optimus aren't though.

Grahf: So many figures on 'endless' preorder. This, Jiangxing Tigerhawk, Big Firebird Windblade, Future Toy TM2 Blackarachnia and TM Tarantulas...DNA DK-17 lol. It would be great if these companies ether officially cancel them or update them finally. Except for DNA DK-17 as that was officially cancelled but Show Z just hasn't taken down the preorder. And where the hell are those Neo Art upsized Maketoys Nemesis Prime Battle Tankor and Hypernovae Nova Prime? I want that Nove Prime so much still lol.
