Grahf: Was just looking some things up on the wiki and was reminded of a character that hasn't gotten a toy made yet. It reminded me a lot of this figure here mixed somewhat with SS helicopter Dropkick and Drift too.

I think with some slight retooling of the chest, head and rotors along with the omission of the extra leg parts in exchange for the addition of little wings off the sides with missile pods, this would be a perfect base for that character. You don't even need to add anything, just change the rotors, chest and head really. It would also give this figure another use that it most likely would never get otherwise.

The character in question is Britt/Bayonet tfwiki.net/wiki/Britt.

They're both female. They both transform into helicopters. Their robot modes both have those long hip armor pieces. And oddly enough, they both have vampiric like powers.

So if someone knows how to contact APC Toys, pass on the idea.

Grahf: Could've sworn I had this preordered. Me from last year thought so. It must have been at a different site. Just checked and I must've cancelled it. Doesn't matter since it won't be out until later this year. So much for that so called surprise to myself.

Regardless, I'm going to wait until I see reviews now. X-Transbot's stuff has been rather janky and breaky lately and I don't feel like being one of those fools who keep buying their stuff only to be let down by it. Either they break easily, don't clip or come together well, have loose joints or just they want you to do stupid stuff that either feels bad or looks bad to accomplish something easy that didn't need to be done with all that nonsense.

However, this does looks like a real clean design. Nothing crazy going on with this from what I seen so far...

Grahf: Now that's interesting. However this isn't doing it for me as a so called Armada Starscream update. But if they wanted to do Megaplex, Megatron, Wind Sheer, Thrust or Air Hunter I'll be all for that. Even Skydive/Dark Jet.

Not really into the cube figures but I have three of the Trypticons along with Mint and Sakura from 53 Toys and I might be in for and Omega. I just need to see it first.

It's pretty much exactly like I already said.

The gold's color match is horrible.

The hands suck.

The rear skirt sucks and should've been designed better to actually do something.

New chest sucks as it's not accurate and kind of gets in the way. Supposedly it's also not compatible with the transforming fists from the other set.

The gun extender while cool, ultimately sucks.As does it's combination with the trailer hitch thing.

The new soles are mediocre at best.

The new shoulder flaps don't add much and make it look worse overall. They're only used if you're not putting the trailer on the cab anyway so they're pretty much completely useless.

The red cab fillers are good but no better than other options. They may or may not stay in better than the other options though.

The front skirt is really good.

The new thighs (not shown here) are good but are supposedly not compatible with the other thigh extending kit. So no super long legs/super mode arms.

The new front shoulder pads that accommodate the longer thighs for truck mode (also not shown here) do the job they're intended to do.

Bonus gun extender looks weird as it's a shade of blue that's not color matched to anything else.

I just want the front skirt, the longer thighs/super mode arms with the longer panels for them (again both not shown here) and maybe the gun extender but not to put the other thing on it. Possibly the soles but I'd need them in hand to know for sure if I wanted them or not. I'd also need Tidal Wave too to see how much taller Megatron gets from the upgrades he gets from Tidal Wave as Megatron has new soles as well as his torso should extend for the combined mode.
