[Pre-Order] Dr.Wu & Mechanic Studio Slaughter Overkill
Grahf: I guess these are Generations Soundwave/Soundblaster/Blaster/Twincast/SG Soundwave/SG Blaster compatible. I mean, their two released cassette combiners are and presumably so is their third and these two but it would be nice to know for sure though.
XiaoGuo Studio Upgrade Kits for SS WFC03 Optimus Prime Blue Part
Grahf: Sweetmall on Ebay has this for $27.12 and they give a 7% off discount when purchasing 3 or more upgrade kits. They also sell both kits combined at $41.55.

TFSafari doesn't have this one listed yet. However they offer coupons for either an amount off your total order or a percentage off multiple upgrade kits. Several tiers of each too. By far the cheapest way to get it, especially if you're ordering multiple kits. So be on the lookout for when they do finally list this kit.

Regardless, just save yourself the money and track down the Generations deluxe WFC Optimus Prime from many years ago that was also reissued alongside Titans Return Orion Pax from a few years ago. Or if you can, track down the oversized version of the mold. By far the deluxe is better than this voyager. This is one of the most overrated figures out there. Despite what you may have heard, the deluxe is not difficult to transform and it's not a floppy mess. The transformation is original and quite intuitive and the figure is only floppy during transformation. Once it's in either mode, it's solid. And for the love of Primus, push the fucking feet back on the hinge in the upper ankle. If you don't, don't complain about it falling backwards as it's your own fault at that point. This voyager falls backwards on its own and has no such built in fix though hence the need for upgrades.

AndreyofDoom: All true but the voyager has WAY more accurate proportions to the prime in the game. The old Deluxe is amazingly engineered and fun to transform, but doesn't look nearly as bulky as this design should be.

Grahf: Fair enough. I'm not one for accuracy though unless it's something WAY off. I didn't play the games anyway so I have no attachment to the design being bulkier. I wish I picked up the oversized version of the deluxe. I only got the purple one and by the time I went for the rest, they were all gone.
Siyang Culture YC-001A Six Gun & Scamper Set of 2
Grahf: Cute little figures.

They do the job I suppose.

Points for likes are back on.

Points for reviews on social media too it seems. 200 for a pictorial with at least 4 pics and 400 for a video of at least 30 seconds.
Lucky Cat Micro Cosmos MC-01S Elvis Voltron Metallic Version Set of 5 Reissue
Grahf: Can someone please help me to understand this odd little obsession with cube-formers?

I'll do you one better: Why is cube-formers?

I don't know, maybe I just see it as a waste of resources. Why go through the extra work of designing something to also turn into a cube on top of all the other things you want it to do. Out of all object-formers, it's literally the most useless. You just turned into a basic shape. It's bad enough when something turns into a microscope, boom box or gun but at least those do or are something. What am I going to do with a cube; put it in a square hole?

I just don't get it. I own Echoblaster as well as the Dio mold as Sakura and Mint from 52 Toys and Dr. Wu's Trypticon. The cube modes do nothing for me. I tried to understand it but I don't know. I'd get more as they look like cool little figures but I don't want to pay the prices some of these have just for them to turn into cubes.

These are harmless though and it's cool that people love them. I just don't understand it.
Mastermind Creations R-42Y D-Zef Deathsaurus Year of the Dragon Version
Grahf: I will never understand the love for this figure. The proportions are horrendous. The arms are as long as the legs. Longer if you count above the shoulders. The forearms are about twice the size of the thighs and about the same size as the waist. Shoulders bulkier than the torso. Feet connected by shin flaps, dragon mode is wearing a diaper and more.

There are far better options for a Deathsaurus out there. Like literally all three are better overall and I'll say that with the third one not being out yet AND it's being made by XTransbots of all companies.
Dr.Wu DW-E36 Menace King Megatron
Grahf: Cool I guess, it's gun Megatron.

But still, even at this small size, I couldn't really care less about inanimate object alt modes.

I can appreciate the design though as it was very well done. Most larger third party figures don't pull this off nearly as well. Only real negative I see are the trigger and guard parts on the back of the left arm.
NewAge H58B Roadgames Huffer & H59B Sorcerer Pipes Set of 2
Grahf: So Puffer and Road Ranger are going to be a thing for a while now huh? That's cool. There's other decos that still haven't been done yet though. Red/yellow, peach/blue, blue/yellow, dark blue/white (Puffer but in the standard Pipes shade of blue), all dark blue (Pipes' shade). But I guess we should get on Hasbro to do them first so that the third party companies have some sort of a solid reason to do them.

It would just be great to start seeing more of the IGA, Lynsa, Rubiplas, Estrela and other official variants done more often. I'm getting real tired of seeing the same characters done over and over and over and over again by everyone. If they shuffled a few of the more obscure decos in every so often, we can fill in the background of displays with them using several different molds. Like use FansToys' Huffer, BadCube's black Huffer, this NewAge E-Hobby colored Road Ranger and then XTransbots' Gobots colored Road Ranger and so on. Assuming they were all the same scale or whatever. Four of the 'same' mold without actually being the same mold.

It's just like what I was saying on Dr. Wu's 'reformatting' purple Megatron. Megatron has at least four to six other decos that can be done, but never are, before even needing to go to any G2 color scheme. More obscure decos being done might lead to more impulse purchases from people who wouldn't normally get it in the standard decos or the most used redecos. I have no interest in most Optimus Prime, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime or all white Ultra Magnus figures but make one in Fire Guts Ginrai, Magna Convoy or Shining Magnus cab colors and I'll be far more inclined to pick them up. I mean, how often do you see a yellow and black or orange and red Optimus Prime figure? Those would stand out more to me and hook me in...yet deter others which might be the problem. There's more that would be off put by so called 'unknown' decos than there are those of us would be more interested by them. And we've come full circle to Hasbro and/or Takara needing to be the ones to do them more frequently first.
Pangu Toys PT-09 Silver Samurai Cyclonus
Grahf: Oh hey, a company with some originality. Silver Samurai huh? That's interesting. I think I'll pick this up to support that originality. And I'm a fan of the X-Men.

Oops, forgot to get Loki. I hope more come back in stock. In the meantime, I'll get this. Really wish those Omegas were a little bigger. A little taller than Legacy Menasor bigger. Not unlike the listed height of this figure at 13.39 inches. Yeah, this isn't that big lol. It's so called legends scale if I recall correctly.
Black Mamba MX-6601 Studio Series SS109 Megatron
Grahf: Since Show Z deleted my previous comment despite having over 5 likes at the time and several replies agreeing with me I'll try to paraphrase.

This is objectively overrated borderline trash.

Great robot mode.

Bad 'tank' mode.

Horrible 'jet' mode.

They originally designed this to be Marauder Megatron. That's what this should've been. It's one of the best Megatron designs of all time.

How do you have a leader class figure you can literally design to be anything, draw up designs based on Marauder Megatron and then fail so spectacularly when actually making the figure?

The original design based on Marauder Megatron also looked like BM Tankor and Transtech Immorticon in tank mode and BM Jetstorm, G1 Cyclonus or even TLK Megatron in jet mode.

Instead we got a 'tank' mode about as lame as RotF Megatron and a jet mode somehow far worse than Legacy Bomb Burst.

Grahf: Seems people are still mad about the truth about this mold.
