Grahf: So why'd they change the wheels?
It looks like they also changed the thighs (could be the angles and paint), forearms and chest/front end of car, the front and rear wheel wells and any pieces normally attached to the rear wheel wells. They also added additional weapons.
Why would they change the wheels though? As someone already pointed out, they put street wheels on an offroad vehicle. Cool, you pinned the wheels on. But you pinned the wrong style wheels to the vehicle though. That's a pretty big fail lol.
I don't have the SS figure as I tend to skip Bumblebees. So uh, were the shoulders or chest limited in some way that they decided to change it to have movable pectorals?
Wrist swivels are nice though, especially with the swords. Still not the ideal articulation for swords but at least it's better than the nothing that was there on the base figure.
Oh and Show Z told me that too many people were getting free figures by 'just commenting'. Yet I don't think they took into account how the points were obtained when people, like myself, would just outright get figures for 'free'. I mean, I had to still purchase figures to get the triple points from that to get as many 'free' figures as I did. The comments having given 16 points instead of 8 did help but it was far from the only way I accumulated points quickly. And I didn't get a huge amount of points from likes either. I mean it helped but again, it was the triple points from purchases that helped me get so many things here for 'free' with the points.
That's literally the point isn't it though? You sign up for premium, get triple points for purchases and then you get free shit. It doesn't matter if it's a free figure outright or if it was an amount off of a figure, it still counts the same at the end of the day as it's a dollar amount off.
Also, people could just outright purchase points here. I doubt they took that into account as to how people accumulated points. It's not like the points are separated via how they were obtained. Regardless of how you get the points, they all go to the same count.
So be it purchased points, points from purchases, points from likes and comments, points from social media reviews (new), points from refunds or bonus points given as gifts from Show Z themselves, they all look the same to the system. So again, limiting the amount of points from comments and likes will not lead to less 'free' figures being obtained. Due to my purchases recently, I again have enough points to get something for 'free'. The likes help but it was my recent purchases and the triple points from them that put me anywhere in range to even get anything for 'free'.
BJ Savage: At least they gave you a somewhat straight up reason. They just gave me some BS corporate run-around answer when I asked them what gives. I would have been far less irritated if they gave me an honest answer and not "This change is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the quality of interactions on our platform, which we believe will benefit all our users in the long run" They should have just said "we were losing money so we changed it".
