sdken8: Want to get a close to masterpiece Prime without paying through your nose? This is the perfect figure for you. The blue and red are unpainted, but that is a plus, since there will be no more chipping! The plastic does not feel cheap, and you don't have to deal with the unnecessary trailer. Many of the minor complaints of the original Takara release have been addressed as well, like the fragility of the leg sections.

I bought his for over a 100$ but the new price point is a steal.

My copy actually shipped with two left hands but Show Z after service was great and sent me a replacement part.

This and the TE version of Prime are the best non-Takara versions out there.
Shadow_SG: Nice to have Show as back up, can you tell if this version comes with the big backpack?

Charlock: What a fantastic improvement over the original MFT Springer. I absolutely love this figure. He's bulky, clean and very poseable. His car mode leaves a little to be desired and the lack of wrist swivel is unfortunate, but in the bot and helicopter modes, he just shines.
Shadow_SG: His movement and poses are equal with the quality of NewAge and Magic Square?

Chuckles Last Laugh: I don't think its close to New Age quality/articulation. It is a nice piece, but I wound up selling it and will likely purchase the New Age when available.

AdamDanger: This mold is a must have for any TF collection and the additional weapons are a cool inclusion. Urge everyone to watch a video before transforming because if you don't do the legs correctly, you can get some wicked stress marks on the back of the legs.

Katana's (not Blades) alt-mode looks amazing. Everything tabs in nice and tight and not many unsightly panel lines.

Bot mode also cleans up nicely and you can get him into some decent poses with all his swords.

Light piping for eyes works really well. Too bad GT-08A Sarge (not Streetwise) does not have light piping.


CONS:
Contains lots of delicate parts the arms and tale rotor sections that you need to be aware of and careful when transforming.

Lots of rubber parts that can get bent out of place during shipping. My wipers came bent.

Landing skids are fiddly and often come loose when posing the figure. Inconvenient.
