MKvinsley: I think either the company is REALLY giving it their all and trying to make the perfect Optimus Prime figure… or they have given up.

I think the company is taking their time with this figure and is giving it their all. It’s been about 2 years now in the making so I think MAYBE we will see another update sometime in 2023 or 2024. A long time to be sure, but I’m sure we will have something by then, perhaps a brand new sculpt or paint job.

Also it’s entirely possible they are waiting for the bumblebee movie to run it’s course so they can release the figure without getting sued.

All these possibilities are in play here.
