What's with the price being almost double?

Grahf: I logged onto Facebook the other day and I seen DNA was so pleased to post an update on this set. Meaning they DID in fact take this set back to the kitchen for further cooking.

Oh wait, all they did was remove the need for that white piece to attach the helmet to Tigerhawk's beast mode and slightly change the colors of SIlverbolt's parts.

Nothing about fixing the actual problems with the Silverbolt parts as I do in fact appreciate the new helmet even if it's ultimately superfluous.

Replace the stock gray wings as well as the upgrade extensions with new ones that are filled in underneath and are painted to match the stock wing tips that are being kept. ALL the feathers should be the same color. Doing that will turn this set from a maybe to an absolute must have for almost everyone.

They put so much work into that update video too. So much work goes into stop motion and all they did was show that the colors were slightly different for the most part.

With the randomness of their 'China exclusive' translucent parts they recently added to the RotB sets and how little sense they make having been made, how much do you wanna bet that the feet for Tigerhawk on this set will get that alternate translucent color treatment? Or would it be Silverbolt's back plate? Point being is that it's going to be something useless and outright stupid instead of something practical like the guns...or even the helmet. A translucent blue helmet wouldn't be too bad actually. Not many other options on this set. Watch it be the wing fillers for Tigerhawk lol. I mean there's no way it would be the wing extensions for Silverbolt right? RIGHT?

Grahf: It's one thing when BBTS has it for less as they charge for shipping at all times. It's another when TFSource has it for cheaper though. Yeah that's right, this is cheaper on both BBTS AND TFSource. This kit is nearly completely useless (the hammer is nice) but if you still insist on getting it then get it from cheaper somewhere else.

Oh and if you still want to get from here because of the bonus that's not advertised, it's another globe effect but this time it's in translucent yellow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, that's amazing!

Should've been the hammer in the blood red they're making Bumblebee's mask in for the RotB Autobots set's bonus.

Nobody wants those effects parts to begin with let alone a third one in piss yellow.

Still think this and the Autobot set should've been one set and all sold at $30. I might have gotten it then...when it goes on clearance.

Grahf: Show Z Store said that this was coming out quarter 2 of 2024. Quarter 3 of 2024 said; that was a lie.

I wish some of these companies gave realistic release dates. Especially companies nobody's ever heard of.

I guess I'm only down a dollar over all this though so it's not bad. But so much for trying to jump on from the start to try and help get this done. Oh well.

Grahf: Having just received my first Pangu figure I'm not too sure about this now.

This looks great don't get me wrong. That's not the issue.

The problem was the materials they used. They felt cheap and I constantly thought I was going to break the figure. One that barely actually does anything to transform.

This figure is a triple changer and is an original design. If they use the same quality plastic they used on Silver Samurai (and Loki and Cyclonus be extension) then I don't see this holding up to more than a few conversions.

Which would suck as figures with multiple modes are meant to be converted between them more than standard figures. It's one thing to not transform my Silver Samurai and Loki (when he gets here) since their alt mode sucks (Iron Factory's fault and not exactly Pangu's) but it would be another thing to not transform a multiformer like this.

So this is going to be a wait and see for me. I'll be looking forward to the reviews on this. I just hope someone gets it in hand that isn't from the Lego Movie.

Grahf: So yeah, I completely forgot about a potential reuse of this. Sure Britt/Bayonet would almost be spot on but there's another. it would require some new parts though but so would Bayonet. Swap out all the extra legs for some fins. Turn this dolphin helicopter into an actual dolphin. Why's that? For NAVI-ko! She's a virtual retool of Prime Cyberverse legion Airachnid that turns into a dolphin. She's the Darksyde's navigation computer given form in some of those crazy Takara Legends Magna chapters. The Darksyde being the BW Predacon's ship. Meaning that if we ever do get a titan class Darksyde, there's a good chance that it will be female like the Nemesis.

I'd also like to see that background character model redeco of Airachnid seen on the Alchemor in RID 2015. But it takes too long for APC to do anything even basic redecos. I'm still waiting on The Hunter/Shockoract from Protoform X/Rampage/Megatron.
