DNA Design DK-55 Upgrade Kit for Transformers: Legacy United Leader Tigerhawk & Voyager Silverbolt
Bigby Bot: Why can't Hasbro understand that if we are ok to pay more for filler kits or we don't buy the figure in the first place because of that, they're doing something wrong?
Grahf: Not really. Remember that time when Hasbro made an awesome deluxe sized figure and released it as a voyager with everything filled in, extra articulation, extra paint and extra accessories and then everyone complained? That was SS86 Hot Rod. But there were other similar releases too. Like Kingdom Rodimus. Or Siege Shockwave. Or Siege Astrotrain. Or Legacy United Soundwave. Or Legacy Blitzwing. Or Earthrise Cliffjumper. Or SS86 Bumblebee. Or SS86 Ultra Magnus. Or SS86 Optimus. Or Earthrise Optimus. Or Velocitron Override. Or even the rumored upcoming titan class Star Convoy. Regardless, my point being that whenever Hasbro does in fact make a figure that's loaded with extra expenses in a larger size class people complain about it. This is all after Hasbro sending out a survey during PotP asking the customers if they'd pay more for figures that came with or did more or were considered more premium. They got an overwhelming "yes". Only for endless complaints and low sales when they actually followed through. The fanbase are a bunch of hypocrites. They say they want something and are willing to pay the extra for it until it actually comes time to follow through. They would literally gladly pay another company extra for upgrade kits than give hasbro that extra money for the figures to come with those additions right out of the box but at an increased price. People won't pay leader prices for BW Silverbolt because he's "voyager sized" with all the wings filled in, extra articulation, extra paint and extra accessories but they'll happily pay voyager prices for the voyager figure, complain about the figure lacking stuff and then pay the extra anyway for upgrades which will end up being the same price or more than the proposed leader class figure but with less actual stuff and no 3d printed parts. LIterally go to the Seibertron.com forums about the rumored Star Convoy next year and there will be several people complaining about what they feel is a commander class figure being released as a titan. The Youtuber Chuckdawg is even calling for a boycott of sorts over the figure and it's only a listing in a computer to us so far.

Grahf: I was waiting on the price. Third party so called legends scale figure prices have been getting out of hand lately. $100+ on figures about smaller than a standard deluxe is absurd and there is no justifying it. You can get them and that's fine but there's not a single thing about them that makes any of them worth that much when you can get better figures that are three times the size for less.

With this being a new company, it remained to be seen what the price would be.

Seems they're starting off reasonably...so far. I might be interested now.

However I'd still much rather they have finished that TIgerhawk. As soon as I seen it I preordered it. It should be out by now too. Yet they're pushing forward with these so called legends scale Technobots instead. If Tigerhawk is cancelled I wish they'd just say it. Not that Show Z would drop the preorder but at least I'd know to cancel the preorder and stop talking about the figure. Maybe if they switched to Razorclaw as the first version of that Tigerhawk mold since it looks as though Hasbro has no interest in releasing him as a Generations Selects release or as another exclusive.
G-Creation GDW-01C Ultra Maxmas Optimus Prime Rampage Version
Grahf: Yawn.

Optimus.

Nemesis.

Shattered Glass Optimus.

How lazy. What's next, white Ultra Magnus?

Come back with a Magna Convoy or Fire Guts Ginrai.

Wait, what's that you say?

This ISN'T Shattered Glass Optimus?

It's the Eva Unit 1 deco like MP-10 got?

Oh, well I stand corrected.

At least it's one of Optimus' other decos and not one of the same old ones that gets put out constantly. Shame it looks like SG Optimus though. Maybe they can do Ghostbusters Optimus instead of Ultra Magnus for the white one. Then they should've done Motormaster/breath instead of Nemesis for the black one.

$130ish is what this mold used to sell for. I wonder if this new run will be for less. Not really all that interested though since there's so many Optimus options out there. Optionus.

Wouldn't mind a Shuraking reissue if they lowered that price quite a bit.

I gotta say it's both weird and welcome to see all these dormant/dead third party companies coming back from out of nowhere with reissues and even a few new releases.
DNA Design DK-56 Upgrade Kits for Motormaster w/ Bonus
Big Bill: Seen a lot of people giving this set a hard time due to it's colour, but for me I think it looks fine.

They don't realise that it's not a trailer but meant to be part of the vehicle it's self, so am fine with that.

The main reason I am getting this set is cos the toy it's self needs a bit of a size up and upgrade in size, the past couple of years these things have been getting smaller and it sucks that a toy like Motormaster was once £20 and now it costs almost £40.

Original Leader Class was originally £30 here and since MM is Voyager class and not that big, you can see why I want it boosted in size.

Sad thing is that DNA do tend to charge too much for their kits and this kit will be over £50, am still going to get it but man, they need to start rethinking the cost.

But yeah, it will make my toy look better even if it makes it more expensive then a Commander class in the end...

Big Bill: Fair enough, it don't bother me though. Am still getting one for my MM, could have sworn it was an extension but I must have been thinking of something else.

Grahf: I think the vehicle he scanned was intended to be a full fire truck. It's just that he was only a cab on Cybertron with no trailer so even though he scanned a full fire truck, he doesn't turn into one and can then switch out the trailer whenever he wants. Sometimes it's not even a physical trailer and is a hologram or something. In the show he actually avoids any questions about his trailer because he doesn't seem to know either. RiD 2001 Optimus and Cybertron Optimus are both full fire trucks though.

Grahf: No updates yet? It's coming out next month. Is this yet another one of those figures that gets pushed back over and over again? It would really be great if these companies gave more realistic release dates.
Dr.Wu DW-E56 Giant Claw Scorponok
Grahf: Cool. Really. I love how Zarak AND Fastrack exist. Not to mention Sixgun, Slammer and Scamper with their Metroplex. Shame Fulltilt and especially Brunt didn't get such considerations. I mean, Fulltilt exists but he's not exactly a Transformer like the rest of these.

But speaking of that Metroplex, maybe get that out first. And Gigastorm. And Decibel. And Slugfest and Overkill. And how many other open preorders Dr. Wu has.

Wait, that's not the right saying.

I feel like a broken record.

Yeah, that's the one.

Grahf: IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So only one person commented, that I seen, has tried this service yet? So you just send them the STL files and go over the size, colors and quality. Sound easy enough but I wonder if you can get different parts printed in different colors. Like if you wanted to do a Transformer from Cults or something. I seen people put up files for Powermaster Optimus, Fort Max, Scorponok and others. LIke can you get certain parts printed in different colors or does the whole thing need to be printed in one color?

From the pictures uploaded, the print quality looks good. I'm just interested in knowing how this whole process works.

And man it really does suck that all those files from Shapeways are just gone like that. There were some great designs there that needed more attention. So many Titans Return faceplates and different size Junkion heads just gone forever. Someone made an engine gun for Legacy Armada Hot Shot that had three pegs. Two for vehicle storage that would flip up and then a central peg to flip down for use in robot mode. I have two but want a third and now it's gone. I got almost everything I wanted from there in the only order I made from there last year but still, there were other things that piqued my interest.

Keng: So true, Grahf! I hate that release dates are constantly being exceed - as a TF Legends collector, IronFactory is among the worse, with scheduled release dates exceeding for years... It is super lame...

Grahf: It's like deja vu all over again lol.
Gi One BSD01 Endless Equipment Poseidon Trypticon
DarthFellator: I swear I commented on this earlier, but does anyone remember what retail was for the official of this? in USD
Grahf: The official Hasbro TR Trypticon? It was $150 but could be found for cheaper at Ollie's and Amazon. The original preorder price for this though was $85. Thankfully I paid that in full so I didn't have to pay the extra $35 they raised the price to before release.
XTransbots MX-27B Janssen Perceptor Black Version
Grahf: Why are people excited for this? It's Xtransbots.

I really don't understand how a company that has almost 90% of their figures break or have other problems still get so much love and excitement for their offerings.

I can't wait until I see all the reviews of this that say that it broke it three places and that there are problems moving pieces past other pieces and that there isn't actually a (insert part of choice here like foot/arm) and that it's just panels folded together with zero tension and that nothing tabs together and that the joints are too loose but still somehow give it 5 stars because it's the only one on the market.

Time after time after time after time people are burned by this company. Yet people still get their stuff. You are the problem. Insert Michael Jordan meme here: Stop it, get some help.

I mean I get it, all Transformers collectors are masochists but damn man. Some of you Xtransbots collectors must really hate yourselves.

mixmaster: I am sorry that you have such a negative opinion of X-Transbots, I personally like it a lot and have never had any major problems, maybe one figure that was broken due to horrible shipping. Many problems could be avoided by following a good video,as instructions are very often useless. In my opinion, all brands have more or less problems, only on some people tend to turn a blind eye....

Grahf: Every video I watched and more than a few reviews I've read show that this company makes bad products. Going on dozens of figures too. Not just one or two examples from one figure. All the figures and multiple examples from each.
