Waterslide Decal for Transformation SS86 Swoop
Grahf: Okay that's cool and all but what about the other four Dinobots?

If I'm going to put stickers on one of them then I'm going to put stickers on all of them. Otherwise one would look weird. They all need to look uniform...other than Swoop's chest I guess. I prefer the red chest for Swoop personally though.

It's all or nothing for me when it comes to something like this though. I would need a matching set for all five at the very least. Ideally, six sets if they wanted to do a set for the Nonnef Paddles conversion kit for Sludge as well. Otherwise it's going to be Toyhax for me as they have a set for Paddles. Which I might do at some point to make Paddles look less like Sludge.

And the name "Paddles", I think it's time we change it. It just doesn't fit the naming convention of the Dinobots and it never has.

I recently seen someone call "her" "Scald". I find that to be a little too boring or rather, obvious. Maybe it's due to the move in Pokemon that I feel that way about using that as a name.

I've taken to calling Paddles, "Splosh" instead. Splosh being the act of making or the sound of softly splashing around in a liquid. To me at least, it fits with the other names a bit better sound wise. Also Paddles if depicted as being far more gentle than the other Dinobots. So with splosh being the word specifically for softly splashing in water, it's more befitting of the more gentle character. And not unlike depictions of the "Loch Ness monster" in media and how it's usually a gentle creature. For instance the video games Earthbound and Super Mario 64 depict their plesiosaurs as being friendly, gentle and helpful.

Solentro: they do have water slide decals for the other 4, i have been using this brand for a while now, not just dinobots, they have decals for most of the netflix trilogy and some of the new legacy stuff

Grahf: I clicked on the tab to see what other labels were available here and didn't see them. I guess you can change my complaint to not having them all available here then. Why would I get just the one here when I'd have to go elsewhere to get the other four. Might as well just get all five and some others from wherever sells them all instead.
Threezero 1/6 Berserk Reborn Band of Falcon Griffith
Grahf: I don't care how good this figure is. I'm not spending that kind of money on that piece of shit Griffith. lol
NewAge S-01 Romulus Megatron
Grahf: FINALLY!!!!!

I'm ALL for third party companies making stuff that fit in with the current REAL Transformers lines.

I'll be looking forward to supporting this depending on price. Which has me worried from this company. It's already $60 for a core class sized Megatron. I imagine a leader class sized Megatron that's designed to be on par with a commander class Optimus total package is going to cost the same as a tian class figure.

However, I'm so over alt modes that don't do anything. This won't "swoosh", it won't "splosh", it won't "vroom", it won't "squawk", it won't "growl", it won't "roar". It won't do anything other than go "bang bang" in my hand once and then go back to robot mode and never again be transformed.

This will be a glorified Action Master.

Might as well just make one at this point.

Maybe they'll throw us a curve ball and give this a third mode but doesn't suck like that Bold Forms Gladius figure.

If you want to actually realize just how stupid inanimate object formers are, go watch that 40th anniversary Studio Trigger trailer thing that literally just came out.

There's this awesome scene of Transmetal Primal flying alongside G1 Prime's truck cab. They both transform to robot mode, turn to sparks and then merge to form Optimal Optimus.

Then there's Transmetal Megatron flying but G1 Megatron is in his mouth. They then transform into robot mode, turn into sparks and then merge to form Transmetal II "Magmal" Megatron. Which is cool and all but let's not get past the fact that the fucking T-Rex has a fucking gun in its mouth. It was so stupid. All seriousness and coolness went right out the window. So absolutely lame.

But seriously though, not calling TMII Megatron, "Magmal Megatron" to go alongside Optimal Optimus was a waste. It was a fire (and ice) breathing dragon that rose up from a pool of magma (yes magma, they were in a cave and it's only lava when it's on the surface). Oh yeah, and the alliteration is on point too.
Pangu Toys PT-01B Commander Optimus Prime Black Version
DarthFellator: oh look... A N O T H E R Optimus/Nemesis/Dead Prime...THIS TIME though from Pangu...so THAT justifies the bajillionth iteration of this character....it's really getting out of hand....WAY TOO MANY
Grahf: I've stated on several other listings that there's so many other options for Optimus redecos almost all these companies do the same boring ones over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Magna Convoy, Shining Magnus cab, "Sentinel Prime" now, Toxitron, golden lagoon, Fire Guts Ginrai, Beast Tracker, Predacons Rising (Thunderclash), BAPE, Ghostbusters, Evangelion and so on. But nope, Optimus colored Optimus, even more Optimus colored Optimus, Nemesis, Shattered Glass and maybe if we're lucky, Ultra Magnus cab colors instead. Sometimes a "dead' one will sneak in too.
NewAge S-01 Romulus Megatron
Detroa: I'm really surprised by this. I would totally understand them going for the Masterpiece market but with how their figures are priced and how good a lot of the SS figures already are, I don't really see a market for this.
Grahf: The market is people who won't give up inanimate object alt modes because that's what it originally was. There's a vocal minority of fans who just won't admit to themselves that transforming into a gun is lame. I grew up with G1 Megatron, I loved his toy as a kid too but even then I knew it was lame that all he did was turn into a gun. I had dinosaurs, jets, cars, trucks, tanks, motorcycles, monsters and beasts of all sorts and then a gun, a space gun, a camera, a tiny boombox, a micro cassette recorder and a bunch of micro cassettes and regular cassettes the size of micro cassettes. At least the Microscope had the sense to also turn into a tank. Even still, I'm somewhat interested to see what they do here but only due to it being a third party figure that's supposed to fit with actual Transformers in the main line.
CollectionSpace CS-03 Transformable Bishoujo StarQueen Mecha Girl
Grahf: Reminds me of Bingo Toys Windgirl...

but you know...

with a complete alt mode.

Looks pretty good so far. Price should be pretty decent too. I'm going to wait a bit to see more before putting a preorder in though.
Takara Tomy Masterpiece Gattai MPG-14S Godbomber Suit Set
Grahf: I no longer understand Takara's Masterpiece line.

Super Ginrai and pretty much every other standard MP figure for a while has had the hyper toon aesthetic. Raiden, MPM and BW being the exceptions.

Now this Godbomber is revealed and it might as well be a CHUG figure.

What is going on?

I like the aesthetic for Godbomber here but hate Super Ginrai and the rest of the G1 MP figures. It's just so odd that two figures meant to combine have two completely different aesthetics. They clash.

What's more odd is that this figure isn't accurate. There's several places where the colors are completely wrong. There's a bunch of extra parts that make the figure even less accurate too.

What's up with those shoulder flaps things hanging off the chest anyway? This is God Ginrai not God Fire Convoy. DNA made these things for their Legacy Armada Optimus kit also. It's bad enough when pelvis flaps get in the way all the time. So why make shoulder flaps that get in the way all the time? Leave that shit to Sixshot and Overlord.

It's great that you can ignore them but why are they there? Why make an already inaccurate set that has conflicting aesthetics even less accurate? They're not show or toy accurate. So where do these things come from?

Grahf: So what's everyone's take on Emily as the new singer for Linkin Park?

Don't just downvote this comment if you don't like it, actually leave a comment because comments get deleted at four dislikes and this is to try and open an actual conversation.

Let me start by saying that Chester wasn't the first lead singer of Linkin Park to begin with. He replaced Mark Wakefield after he left the band. He also replaced Scott Weiland after he was fired from Stone Temple Pilots and continued to replace him after Scott's death. So Chester has replaced at least two other singers himself and has since been replaced by two other singers as well since LP and STP both have new lead singers replacing Chester now.

Black Sabbath, Genesis, Journey, No Doubt, Faith No More, Blind Melon, Fleetwood Mac, Iron Maiden, Foreigner Slipknot, AC/DC, and so many other bands also replaced singers for different reasons too. Some have even replaced singers multiple times.

As for what I think though.

I don't hate it. I don't love it. It's going to take some getting used to for sure. It's going to suck not hearing Chester on the new songs but at least they're making new songs again.

Not much of an opinion to start but oh well.
Touch Toys 1/135 HQ-9BE Wutianyushang 2035 Xiao Series Mini Hellbird
Grahf: It's a cute little baby version of that one missile truck figure from a few months ago.

But then you realize just how big Movie Starscream should've been when seeing this next to the jet. Starscream just could've stepped on Sentinel Prime in DotM. Granted Sentinel Prime would've been a bit bigger than this being an airport fire truck but still, it's not THAT far off size wise I would think. Even the short stocky Dorito that is Movie Starscream should've been gigantic compared to the Autobots, Sentinel Prime, Barricade and Bonecrusher. Probably even Brawl.
[Pre-Order] MetaGate G06 Blue Boy Dropkick
Grahf: 3rd quarter of 2024.

Yet another preorder that's past due. What's that, like 120 or so now? These companies, be it the ones making the figures or Show Z itself, need to stop opening up all these unrealistic preorders.
